They determine how much to charge based on what they think you should be able to afford. Ridiculous.

DO NOT GO HERE. I took two simple jersey knit dresses here for alteration. One needed to be shortened and one taken in a bit. They wanted $65 to do these two things, more than I paid for both dresses combined. I was asked what I did for a living and when I told them, the brothers told me I could afford to pay $65! I asked them what each dress would cost separately and they refused to tell me until I repeatedly demanded to know. They wanted $40 for a simple hemming because they knew that was the dress I was going to elope in. They were taking advantage of my situation. There was no rush on the dresses and no reason to try and charge that amount of money. $40 for a simple hem is ridiculous. The gall of these people to assume they knew what I could afford is unbelievable. I will never go there again and highly recommend you do not try them.
