I am a military member stationed here in the Bangor area. Andy has helped me in a pinch a couple of times. Only good experiences; quick turnaround and good work. As the previous review said, the shop is full of articles, probably a testament to the amount of business Andy gets. Thanks for the good work and for supporting us, Andy.

Great service and price

These guys turn your job around really fast, in a business day or so. The prices are ridiculously cheap -- sometimes you walk out of there wondering if you just ripped them off. The shop isn't dirty -- it is cluttered with bits of clothing and tailoring equipment. Many local military personnel trust their uniforms to Andy the Tailor. I trust my clothes there as well. For a good job, super fast turnaround, and low prices, I can overlook a cluttered shop. To top it off, you're supporting local business.

I took my wedding gown there to have a simple bussell added (the hook on the butt to lift the train up after the ceremony) and needed the halter taken in about an inch and a half. The place was disgusting there, very dirty. When I got my dress back he laid my dress in a mess of water on his counter! Then his idea of a bussell was two long strings to tie together. The piece that should have been right on the butt, was in the middle of my rib cage! So when I "tied" the two strings together the dress was lifted so high my legs were showing! Then when the train was out on the dress you could see a three inch string hanging out. Then the halter I needed taken in by only an inch and a half was shortened by probably six inches. It didn't even go around my neck. All of this 4 days before my wedding! I ended up having to pay a crap load of money for someone to fix his mistakes.

It's disgusting there; and the men are very sketchy.
