A very fashionable friend passed down to me 20 crazily expensive designer outfits (jackets, pants, skirts), but she's taller and slimmer. Given the material and various cuts, I was concerned any alterations wouldn't look right. MaryBeth worked her magic and all the clothes fit perfectly. My husband has also had suits tailored and MaryBeth's work has been great - much better than risking going to the local dry cleaner/tailor. MaryBeth's prices are reasonable, she's speedy and you don't have to worry about preserving the quality of your outfits. The best thing is she's practical. When I commissioned custom pillows for a school auction, she recommended the materials and where to get them, so that I could purchase them myself and save the class money. Good deal!

I have known MaryBeth for years and withing that period of time she has altered many articles of clothing for me. Her work in two words: "sheer perfection". Never once have I been disappointed in the alterations she has performed. MaryBeth at Alluring Designs has worked wonders for me - many times. As a mountaineer I depend on my gear to be functional and fit well, whether I'm training or climbing in nasty conditions. She has made major and minor adjustments to a wide variety of materials and even created a unique pair of durable, functional gore-tex climbing pants. I believe her experience as a multi-sport outdoor athlete gives her the ability to successfully integrate function and creative touches into her projects. I trust her judgment on what will work, and her work always exceeds my expectations.
